This saw has been designed for general laboratory use, including research and development, dicing, and production cutting. It has variable blade speeds and dual cutting modes that provide constant sample advancement or preset sample load. This saw has automatic table retraction after sectioning and a safety interlock sensor for the cover. Also, the adjustable sample load automatically varies the advancement rate to maintain constant force/pressure on the specimen.
