The Milli-Q Ultrapure Water System provides high quality water with ultraviolet radiation, ultrafiltration, and a total organic carbon monitor. The UV module in this system oxidizes dissolved organic compounds in water involving both 185 nm and 254 nm UV light. The ultrafiltration module is used for applications requiring levels of <0.02 Eu/mL in product water, such as cell culture and other life science applications. This system also has built-in TOC monitoring that allows for the continuous measurement of the organic purity of product water (during production) in order to check water purity at any time. This water system has been designed for scientists performing ILC, ICP-MS and FAAS who require water purified down to ppt and sub-ppt levels.
