Sample Tracker is software that has been designed to track the progress of samples and/or tasks through a working environment such as a laboratory. It allows the automatic or manual registration of samples or tasks and allocates an operator responsible for the work. By using operator identity, time and date, this system tracks samples or tasks that may move from one operator to another. This automatic monitoring of work by means of worksheets and work lists means that tests allocated to samples may be checked when completed. Included with this software is a selection of standard reporting forms and an option that facilitates the development of further customized reports.
