Thick Film Heater
This thick film heater saves space in product designs and provides greater heat transfer and quicker heat up. This heater uses conductive inks and insulating material layered over a substrate of quartz, stainless steel, alumina or beryllium oxide. When the thick film is on stainless steel, it offers a corrosion-resistant heating surface that optimizes heating applications by providing up to 1110°F maximum operating temperature.
The thick film on quartz heaters is suitable for use in aggressive chemicals such as ultra pure deionized water, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, ammonium hydrochloride, hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol. The design of the heater eliminates the risk of process contamination if the element fails, and certain types of heaters can be specifically designed to fit around obstacles.
