Spectroradiometer

A portable UV/VIS/NIR spectroradiometer, the FieldSpec Pro features a backpack design and has been developed for remote sensing and precision agriculture to oceanography and environmental assessment. Weighing 16 pounds, this instrument measures 13 x 4.5 x 16 in. and has an incorporated carrier that detaches from the shoulder straps to fit into the overhead compartment of an airplane. It meets all airline carry-on regulations, has a built-in handle, and an upright design. This spectroradiometer measures radiance, irradiance, reflectance and transmittance, and provides spectral resolution of 3 nm at 700 nm and 10 nm at 1400 and 2100 nm. It also provides a sampling interval of 1.4 nm at 350-1000 nm and 2 nm at 1000-2500 nm, and runs on NiMH batteries that provide four hours of portable testing.
