Sample Master Pro is a three tier, client/server application that utilizes Microsoft Access for the "front end" client and either Microsoft SQL Server or ORACLE for the backend. Sample Master Pro is different from other LIMS that claim to link to any ODBC compliant SQL database because the processing with Sample Master Pro occurs on the server. This provides greater processing strength and also reduces network traffic. Sample Master Pro is the only LIMS that can be used with Microsoft Access, ORACLE or Microsoft SQL Server for the backend.
