Sample Concentrator
The concentrator consists of a fully adjustable gas reservoir which mounts over a Dri Block Heater, with a temperature range of 25° to 200°C. The 96 well block insert is said to allow for easy manual or robot access.
Samples are heated while a patented chamber introduces gas through hypodermic needles over the surface of the test samples, providing an environment for rapid evaporation and sample concentration.
The compact nature of the device allows the unit to be placed in most fume hoods/cabinets when toxic vapors are being evaporated. The compact sizing also helps incorporate the unit into robotic systems.
The concentrator is typically used in the preparation of samples for bioanalytical techniques in drug screening, assay development and combinatorial chemistry.
