The system features QImaging's popular Retiga EXi, most typically used for quantitative analysis in brightfield / darkfield / fluorescence / NIR imaging in life science and industrial applications. The cooled camera delivers 1.4 M pixels, high speed, low noise, 12 bit digitization with versatility (region of interest, binning and more) and is user friendly.

The Liquid Crystal Tunable element RGB Filter included can be electronically tuned to the red, green and blue color planes, providing a solid-state, vibration-free way to collect vivid color images while using the camera's entire array of active pixels -- preserving spatial resolution, even in color mode. The slider enables users to switch between monochrome and color imaging with push button ease. The filter is connected to the QImaging camera's electronics with a single cable.
