Ohaus Corporation Scout II portable balances features high capacity models with limits of 1,200g and 6,000g for heavy loads, as well as RS232 interface availability and improved resistance to environmental factors on all its models.
This new line of balances operates with an AC adapter or one 9 V battery, and offers features that include indicators for stability, over/under load, and low battery warning. It has multiple weighing units, parts counting, and a weigh below hook for density and specific gravity measurements. In addition, it continues to offer features of the original balance line including two-button operation, overload protection up to 150% of capacity, and integral security bracket and a large, easy-read display.
