Laboratories is a completely new design of high sensitivity Evaporative Light Scattering (ELS) Detector for HPLC, microHPLC and GPC/SEC. This new detector represents the latest generation of non-selective 'universal' detectors.
This ELS detector has replaced the RI for the detection of solutes with no UV chromophore, giving enhanced performance with the benefits over an RI of improved sensitivity, excellent baseline stability, gradient compatability, and providing a positive response for all solute/solvent combinations.
The PL-ELS 1000 also offers significant advantages over UV detection; in addition to not requiring the solute to have a UV chromophore, the PL-ELS 1000 detector does not require the eluent to be UV transparent, therefore allowing a much wider choice of eluent systems.
