With a number of new product offerings and significant strategic alliances to announce, Thermo LabSystems - the world's leading supplier of Laboratory Information Management Systems and Chromatography Data Systems – appears set to generate a great deal of interest at PittconR 2001 March 4-8 2001, New Orleans, LA, USA. Among the highlights of Thermo LabSystems appearance on booth # 4552 of the exhibition will be:

  • Solution for Bio-informatics - Thermo LabSystems will be presenting demonstrations of a new solution for the first time in a public arena. As a result of strategic worldwide partnership agreements with several major biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies, with academia and with SpotfireR Inc, Thermo LabSystems will be presenting new capabilities in the areas of micro-array data handling and data visualization. Together with recent enhancements to functionality for micro titre plate handling functionality, these advances are anticipated to yield huge benefits in extracting information from the huge data volumes generated by laboratories utilizing techniques such as high throughput experimentation and screening.

  • New Chromatography Data System (CDS) for single workstations - Thermo LabSystems will be launching its high specification A2D (analog to digital) acquisition device for chromatography data. This latest innovation means its award-winning Atlas CDS can now be cost-effectively deployed in both workstation and client/server environments (from 1 to 1,000 channels), providing productivity and cost-saving benefits to laboratories of all sizes. Special offers are available.

  • Enhanced integration solutions for SampleManager LIMS – Thermo LabSystems will be introducing the latest interface developments between its flagship enterprise LIMS and SAP's R/3 Enterprise Resource Planning System and the OSI PI Plant Information System.
