PITTCON 2001: 2-in-1 Vessels

CEM Corporation's HP-500 and XP-1500 PIusTM vessels may be converted from fully sealed to selfventing by simply changing their covers, providing 2 ways to prepare a sample in a single vessel! They are specifically designed to work with the MARS 5 pressure and temperature sensors to provide the most advanced control for sample processing. These unique vessels incorporate a dual seal to ensure the digestion takes place under completely closed conditions. A rim seal around the edge of the vessel ensures complete sealing at lower pressures, while the plug seal provides added strength at higher pressures. The PIusTM sensor technology ensures complete digestions, reproducible results and unparalleled safety in the MARS 5 microwave digestion system.
