Pace Analytical Acquires Serco's Field Sampling, Analytical Lab Operations

Pace Analytical Services Inc. (Minneapolis) has purchased the field sampling and analytical laboratory operations of Serco Laboratories (Roseville, MN). These operations will be moved into Pace's Minneapolis laboratory. Pace has also hired the Serco staff members involved with these businesses; they will be relocated to the Minnesota facility by June 1, 1999. Pace will have an ongoing relationship in support of the Serco's health and safety consulting business.

Pace Analytical Services Inc. is a privately-held analytical measurement and services firm with eight locations in seven states nationwide. The Minnesota facility provides a wide range of analytical testing services in support of industrial and environmental clients and offers specialty capabilities such as low-level dioxin, air toxics, mobile laboratories, field services, FTIR, and LC/MS/MS analysis.
