OxySense To Introduce New Products At Pack Expo Las Vegas
Dallas,TX - Packaging industry customers and buyers will get a hands-on education in Booth #S-5272 about two exciting new products from OxySense , Inc., at PACK EXPO Las Vegas on Oct. 15-17, 2007, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
OxySense, the leader in non-invasive oxygen measurement, will demonstrate both the OxySense MAP 1000 System and the OxySense Calibration Chamber, along with its line of proprietary non-invasive laboratory instruments, in its PACK EXPO booth. The two new products were introduced to the packaging industry in 2007.
The company will also highlight OxyDots , the proprietary, fluorescent oxygen-sensitive sensors which uniquely equip all OxySense systems with non-invasive, optical oxygen measurement.
"PACK EXPO Las Vegas gives us the opportunity to bring our unique, non-invasive oxygen measurement equipment into direct contact with thousands in the packaging industry," said Peter Gerard, president and CEO of OxySense. "The response to these new systems has been excellent so far and we look forward to widening our potential client base through the exposure at this event."
The MAP 1000 system, based on the proven OxySense 4000B laboratory instrument, enables non-invasive, real-time oxygen monitoring for modified atmosphere processing in both batch process and form, fill and seal MAP machines. Requiring no sample atmosphere extraction, the system can take and log measurements as frequently as every second or, with batch systems, timing can be aligned to coincide with each and every flush cycle. MAP 1000 delivers rapid, well-timed measurement as well as the accuracy of the lab-proven OxySense system.
The OxySense Calibration Chamber is an accessory to the OxySense equipment line and provides an easy method for calibrating oxygen measurement at narrower levels. While especially effective in measuring very low oxygen levels, all of the OxySense measurement equipment is capable of measuring from 0-21 percent oxygen saturation.
PACK EXPO Las Vegas is sponsored and produced by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), a trade association whose more than 500 general members manufacture packaging and packaging-related converting machinery in the United States and Canada. PMMI's supplier members manufacture commercially available packaging machinery components
