New Environmental Columns from Restek Engineered for Specific Environmental Applications

Reach for Restek's recently designed series of capillary columns for environmental analyses. The new Rtx-5Sil MS columns are optimized to provide the best resolution of semivolatile pollutants; low bleed, and superior inertness and efficiency for GC/MS analyses compared to standard phases. The new Rtx-VMS columns optimize sensitive GC/MS analysis of volatile organic compounds, featuring a low-bleed, highly stable polymer and tuned selectivity. They achieve exceptionally fast analysis times, thus significantly increasing productivity over currently available volatile columns. Restek also introduces the Rtx-VRX column, having low bleed, excellent selectivity, and an overall faster analysis time for the analysis of organic volatile pollutants compared to conventional 502.2, VOCOL, and "624" GC phases. For explosives analysis, the Rtx-TNT and TNT2 dual-column system is designed with optimized stationary phases and column dimensions for the best separation and fastest analysis times.
