MICRA-Platinum represents Eichrom Technologies' state-of-the-art HPLC columns. This performance line includes Eichrom's well-known NPS® (non-porous silica) columns as well as smaller particle size (3µ) porous columns. Each MICRA-Platinum column is individually tested and packaged with a quality assurance chromatogram.
NPS columns provide exceptional performance improvements over standard HPLC columns in speed of analysis, resolution, stability/reproducibility, sensitivity, and sample/solvent waste usage. This silica support is available unbonded and with three different C18 bonded phases.
MICRA-Platinum also offers 3µ porous columns available in C18 and a short alkyl chain, base-deactivated phases. These porous silica supports are based on the SynChropak® bonding chemistry, 20 years strong.
