Materials Identification
An unknown material is often the underlying cause of many difficult problems.
An unknown material is often the underlying cause of many difficult problems. Chemir/Polytech begins the identification analysis by obtaining the material's fingerprint using infrared spectroscopy. The fingerprint of the unknown material is searched through in-house computer-based spectral libraries followed by interpretation and comparison with authentic spectra. Instrumental and wet chemical methods are used as needed to identify simple or complex mixtures.
