Mass Flow Controller

The Mass-Trak II mass flow controller features a stainless steel flow body and a cleanable sensor that controls the flow of corrosive and toxic gases. The instrument's large internal diameter sensor reduces clogs, and access ports at both ends of the sensor facilitate cleaning. The product's on-board display and local setpoint potentiometer allow for adjustments of the command signal from the face of the instrument enclosure and eliminates the need for external readout/setpoint electronics. A single-sided 24 VDC power input also eliminates the need for dual-polarity power supplies.

The device also features a switch-selectable remote setpoint capability from a 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC command signal, which can be interfaced with a process control system or workstation and provides two simultaneous output signals. The instrument's control valve features include both a purge mode and a valve close command from an external contact, a one-second response to setpoint changes, ± 1% of full scale accurace, and ± 15% of full scale repeatability. The valve is packless, frictionless, and normally closed. It has one moving part and operates over a 5-50 psid pressure differential. The flow controller is available in any range from 0-10 to 0-500 SLPM and is suitable for any clean gas flow control application.
