LabSystems Announces New Partnership with Galactic
The first results of this collaboration were launched with LabSystems' Nautilus 2000 LIMS at Pittcon. Nautilus 2000 incorporates technology from Galactic allowing the user to display spectra from directly within the LIMS.
Data such as chemical structures and analytical spectra require additional facilities for storage, searching, processing, and displaying which are outside the scope of a typical LIMS. Currently, chemists must use separate products from AIMS (analytical information management system) vendors to accomplish these additional tasks. LabSystems and Galactic are working together with end users to produce a completely integrated solution that promises productivity improvements, better integration of results, and more effective R&D.
In addition to jointly developing solutions, LabSystems' Pathfinder professional services group will become Galactic's primary implementation partner for its Spectral Server solution. Pathfinder is LabSystems' 80+ team of project managers and implementation staff with extensive experience of successfully deploying laboratory IT solutions. This alignment further extends Galactic's capability to grow its business.
Both companies will be co-promoting these new solutions and services to existing customers and new customers alike.
