Kelly Services Acquires Scientific Staffing Company In Australia

Kelly Services Inc. (Troy, MI), a global provider of staffing services, has signed an agreement to acquire LabStaff Pty Ltd. (Sydney, Australia) and its related companies in Australia. LabStaff will become part of Kelly Scientific Resources, Kelly's scientific staffing unit. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

LabStaff specializes in temporary and permanent placement, and outplacement of scientific, laboratory, technical, and quality assurance personnel. The company also offers customized courses that range from specialized skills training in the operation of sophisticated laboratory instruments to general training in such areas as good manufacturing and good laboratory practices. Anne Sabine, founder of LabStaff, has been appointed director of Kelly Scientific Resources in Australia.

In addition to Australia, Kelly Scientific Resources has locations in Canada, the US, and Europe.
