Jumpcode Genomics Joins PacBio Compatible Program

Combination of Jumpcode Single Cell RNA Boost Kit and PacBio MAS-Seq for 10x Single Cell 3′ kit maximizes usable single cell RNA sequencing data

Jumpcode Genomics, a genome technology platform company focused on improving the understanding of human biology, today announced it has joined the PacBio Compatible partner program. As part of the program, the Jumpcode Single Cell RNA Boost Kit has been validated as compatible with the PacBio MAS-Seq for 10x Single Cell 3’ kit, empowering researchers to remove uninformative fragments from single cell RNA sequencing libraries prior to sequencing and gain a deeper view of the expression profiles of cells.

Single cell RNA sequencing has helped revolutionize genomics research due to its unique ability to characterize expression at the individual cell level. However, this process has traditionally been hampered by vast amounts of uninformative sequences. Jumpcode’s Single Cell RNA Boost Kit greatly increases informative sequencing data by boosting gene and UMI sensitivity for single cell and spatial libraries by approximately 50% and significantly increasing isoform detection. By depleting abundant and uninformative fragments, such as ribosomal and mitochondrial transcripts, prior to sequencing, the kit allows researchers to cut through the noise and uncover valuable insights.
