Instrumentation Valve and Connector Selection Software

Instrumentation Valve and Connector inPHorm software, Version 2.0 allows for quick, easy and accurate selection of products from both the Valve and Connectors Divisions. The software may be obtained free of charge by acquiring the CD or downloading from the Internet.

Upon selection of a valve or fitting, this software can then add the component to an Order/FRQ form and generate a printable Selection Summary Report. Built-in tools prohibit the improper selection of components and seal materials that fall outside the user's operating conditions.

One feature in the Systematic Design portion of the software is a Valve Sizer that provides a selection of valves within a product family capable of meeting mass or volumetric flow requirements in conformance with ANSI/ISA equations. Other features include reference material in the form of electronic product catalogs, metallic and elastomeric material compatibility tables, actuator sizing capabilities and competitor interchange information.
