Heater and Chiller Unit

The Model 7955 is a combination heater and chiller unit with a temperature range of 0°C-50°, enabling the instrument to maintain true ambient temperatures and operate at sub-ambient temperatures.

The Peltier device, a solid-state heat pump, is used to heat and cool the product. On application of a DC voltage to the device, one side of the instrument will heat while the other side will cool. Reversing the polarity of the voltage will reverse the heating and cooling effect.
