Heated Stainless Steel Gas Cell
This heated stainless steel gas cell is designed for collection of gas spectra at elevated temperatures, decomposition studies and measurements of gas evolving from heated samples.
This heated stainless steel gas cell is designed for collection of gas spectra at elevated temperatures, decomposition studies and measurements of gas evolving from heated samples. The cell is 100 mm long, has a diameter of 38mm (15mm aperture) and is sealed with two 38mm IR windows mounted on Viton or Kalrez O-rings. This accessory features stainless steel body resistant to most gaseous samples.

A heating mantle surrounding the gas cylinder applies heat, and its temperature is monitored by a thermocouple. The temperature range of this product spans from ambient to 200ºC or 260ºC depending on the O-ring configuration. The cell mounts directly in the sample compartment of the spectrometer via a dedicated baseplate.
