Hand Press

This hand press has been designed for the preparation of KBr pellets and comes complete with three standard die sets. This press is suitable for laboratories that require only occasional preparation of KBr pellets and cannot justify the expense of a hydraulic press. This tool consists of a long stainless steel barrel and a movable stage controlled by a lever capable of applying high pressure to the KBr/powder mixture. It comes equipped with a platen position dial for adjustment of the force applied to the die and reproducible sample preparation.
