G.H. Chemicals Ltd.

G.H. Chemicals Ltd., a privately owned company, was incorporated in May 1974 to produce premium quality French Process zinc oxide. Our mission was to provide our customers security of supply and responsive service.

A new plant in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, was commissioned in November 1974, with an annual capacity of 8,000 tons. This was increased to 12,000 tons in June 1977 and to 21,000 tons in June 1986. A third expansion in August 1993, and on-going process refinements, have resulted in a capacity that now exceeds 30,000 tons per year.

The expanding usage of zinc oxide has undoubtedly contributed to the growth of our Company. We believe, however, that a far greater contribution is made in the way we discharge our commitment to our customers. Our team of trained and dedicated employees enables us to fulfill this committment, which, simply stated, is: consistent quality, consistent service, and security of supply.
