Gamma-Dynacare To Offer Sleep Disorders Testing In Partnership With Quebec-Based OSR

Gamma-Dynacare Medical Laboratories ("Gamma-Dynacare") and OSR Medical Inc. ("OSR") announced today that they have entered into a Collaboration Agreement that will make the diagnosis of sleep disorders more accessible for patients.

It is well known that good quality sleep is critical for a healthy lifestyle, while non-restorative sleep adversely affects one's health, performance and safety.  There are many known causes of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, snoring, teeth grinding and other neurological problems. The specialized physicians who direct OSR diagnose and treat patients suffering from these symptoms.  OSR has two state-of-the art sleep labs, located inMontreal and Laval, the only centres adhering to the Quebec guidelines and accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Under the new Collaboration Agreement, the full range of OSR's sleep disorder testing services will now be available through Gamma-Dynacare's network of 28 Patient Services Centres in Quebec, providing better access to these services for patients and their referring physicians.  Gamma-Dynacare will offer OSR polysomnography tests, consultation and illness management services on its requisition forms.  In addition, Gamma-Dynacare's employees will be able to respond to inquiries about sleep medicine services, and supply portable monitoring devices so patients can be tested for sleep disorders in the comfort of their own homes. OSR will promote Gamma-Dynacare as its preferred provider of laboratory services in Quebec. The parties intend to collaborate for an initial term of five years.
