ETS Laboratories Receives Additional Accreditation For Satellite Facilities
St. Helena, CA - ETS Laboratories announces that its three satellite laboratories have received Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). This accreditation provides objective evidence of the facilities' technical competence and clearly distinguishes them from non-accredited laboratories offering similar services.
In addition, ETS Laboratories complies with stringent A2LA Food Testing Program Requirements, containing the "AOAC International Guidelines for Laboratories Performing Microbiological and Chemical Analyses in Food and Pharmaceuticals".
The main ETS facility, in St. Helena, Napa CA, was the nation's first independent wine laboratory to achieve A2LA accreditation. With the addition of accredited satellite facilities in McMinnville OR, Walla Walla WA and Monterey County CA, ETS now extends its accredited analytical methods throughout the western wine regions.
"We added these laboratories to increase convenience and response time for our customers in Oregon, Washington and Central California. Having earned AOAC enhanced A2LA Accreditation, these facilities now join our St. Helena Laboratory in meeting the most stringent qualifications in the industry", said Gordon Burns, ETS Technical Director and President.
ETS continues to meet and exceed the wine industry's analytical needs by providing the highest standards of analytical data, quality assurance, customer service, and client confidentiality.
