DNA Bonding Instrument

This ultraviolet Crosslinker can be used for DNA bonding and UV curing, and has a small footprint for benchtop use. Ultrawavelength interchangeability is possible on this unit by changing the UV tubes and by using the corresponding UV sensor to recalibrate the unit to the new wavelength. With a large interior chamber, this instrument has a microprocessor that measures and controls UV output, thus ensuring maximum energy efficiency. Windows on the door allow viewing of the process, yet block out the UV radiation. In addition, the unit has preset and manual controls for ultraviolet or time exposures. The preset exposure delivers 120,000 microjoules or five minutes of exposure.
