The company's IR Cards provide a low-cost sampling alternative to conventional methods such as ATR analysis or liquid transmission cell analysis. The disposable cards are available in Polyethylene and Polytetrafluoroethylene. They have two centered sampling positions, located 1 ½" from each end (standard sample height in a FT-IR slide mount). This second position allows you to run two samples on each card or take a background of the "A" position and a sample of the "B" position.
Applications for the cards include qualitative IR transmission analysis of organic liquids, materials soluble in organic solvents, semi-solids and pastes.
