Diphonix resin is a high performance, gel-type cation resin for the selective separation/removal of metals from aqueous solutions
Diphonix resin is a high performance, gel-type cation resin for the selective separation/removal of metals from aqueous solutions. Awarded a U.S. patent and the prestigious R&D 100 Award, Diphonix resin is currently successfully utilized in a growing number of applications – including water treatment, removal of radioactive and non-radioactive metals from wastewater, the selective separation of iron from acidic solutions and the purification of acids. By selectively removing only targeted metals, such as manganese from drinking water, a given volume of Diphonix resin can provide a much higher throughput than other commercially available resins.
Eichrom's resin is highly stable over a wide range of thermal and chemical conditions. It also provides exceptional exchange kinetics since its chemical structure allows quick access to the resin's functional groups.
