The DSC 204-HP – Phoenix is now available for investigation of oxidative stability of oils, lubricants, thermosets and other polymers
The DSC 204-HP – Phoenix is now available for investigation of oxidative stability of oils, lubricants, thermosets and other polymers. It is also helpful in the study of catalytic reactions in ultra-pure gas atmospheres. The device is capable of operation to 150 bar (over 2200 psi) from room temperature to 600°C and features dynamic pressure control inside the cell. Measurements in air, O2, Ar, He, N2, H2, CO2 and CH4 are possible using the specially designed steel autoclave. Major applications include study of oxidative induction time (O.I.T.) for cable insulation, hydration of metal catalysts and high pressure processing of polycondensation materials like phenolic resins.
