These differential scanning calorimeters use heat flux technology to measure the heat-flow of thermally activated transitions in materials found in applications relating to research and quality control. This calorimeter has a low baseline noise, and operates from –150 to 600oC. This unit is also useful for accurate atmosphere control. The sample chamber has a low swept volume of <2ml, and ensures a rapid response to atmosphere change.

The precious metal cell has a heat-flux plate with positive crucible location for low-noise and reproducible results. The product also has a furnace that is designed for both stable baseline performance and rapid cooling. The precise furnace control is provided through dual-loop PID control, allowing for more accurate temperature control and less overshoot when approaching isotherms. The software for this unit is based on Windows95, thus creating a user-friendly interface.
