Croda Inc
Croda began operations in 1925 as a Lanolin manufacturer. During the ensuring years, Croda separated and modified the various components of Lanolin to produce new and innovative raw materials. In the early years, Lanolin was produced for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and as a protective coating on metal. The company diversified its' product line and has evolved as a premier producer of surfactants, specialty chemicals and high purity lipids.
Croda currently conducts business in two sectors: Oleochemicals and Industrial Chemicals. Both Sectors produce raw materials used by various industries.
Croda, Inc. is part of the Oleochemical Sector. In addition to pharmaceutical raw materials, products for the Personal Care and Household Industries are the focus for this Sector.
An application laboratory is part of our North American Technical Center (NATC) in Edison, NJ. Manufacturing in the U.S. takes place in our Pennsylvania plant, which is also our main distribution center. To enhance our service, warehousing facilities are located in Miami, FL, Itasca, IL and Fullerton, CA.
