Cone and Plate Rheometer

The MC1 rheometer measures viscosity as a function of rate, time, stress, or temperature for fluids and semisolids. It allows the user to perform both controlled stress and controlled rate measurements in a single instrument. The dual post design enables reproducible gaps within a few microns and it allows for easy access to the measuring surface for easy cleaning and sample trimming. It can be operated manually via the front panel, or via MS Windows 95 operating system software. While a controlled rate operation from 0.3 – 1200 rpm is possible, it also provides a maximum torque of 50 mNm that makes measurements over a wide range of rate possible for even thick fluids.
