Charm Sciences Announces Six WET® (Water Extraction Technology) Mycotoxin Tests

Charm WET uses bottled water, instead of ethanol or methanol, to extract mycotoxins.

Lawrence, MA (PRWEB) - A breakthrough Charm® technology, WET, has been expanded to include the following ROSA mycotoxin tests: aflatoxin (USDA GIPSA approved), vomitoxin (DON or deoxynivalenol), fumonisin, zearalenone, ochratoxin, and T-2/HT-2 toxin.

For the first time, mycotoxins in grain and feed can be safely and rapidly tested without the use of ethanol and methanol. Testing can now be safely moved from a laboratory setting to proactive testing on raw ingredients coming into a plant prior to receipt.

The five-minute test procedure is simple:

-Sample is extracted using a biodegradable powder with water.

-Operators screen for multiple mycotoxins using a single WET extract sample.

-Extract and slurry from WET extractions can be disposed in regular waste.

-All ROSA tests using WET are compatible with the existing ROSA-M Reader or the Charm EZ®-M system.*
