Boekel Scientific Launches Programmable Touch Screen Dry Bath Incubators
Boekel Scientific introduces new touch screen programmable heating blocks, also known as dry bath incubators. Dry bath incubators are used in many laboratories for controlling the temperature of temperature sensitive materials and processes.
Feasterville, PA (PRWEB) - Boekel Scientific launches a new programmable heating block line with advanced touch screen control. Heating blocks, also known as dry bath incubators are used in laboratories worldwide for controlling and maintaining sample temperatures for a variety of tubes and containers.
For the new heating blocks, Boekel Scientific used the same interface design as their recently launched Heat Cool Thermal Mixer (Part Number: 270800), due to overwhelming positive feedback for usability and configurability. The interface allows for programmable time and temperature steps for up to five temperature changes and the ability to repeat programs indefinitely for thermocycling procedures. Twenty-five different temperature control programs can be saved and launched to simplify repetitive temperature control procedures in the lab. The new heating blocks have an elongated designed to maximize laboratory space by utilizing space toward the back of the benchtop. Dry bath incubators use aluminum blocks to transfer heat to their samples.
Boekel Scientific manufactures blocks for all types of consumables including conical bottom tubes, microcentrifuge tubes and microplates. Boekel Scientific has introduced three models; A one block unit, A two block unit and a high capacity four block unit. Each unit can connect to an external temperature probe for spot checking temperatures and controlling temperature based on the external probe. Calibration of the internal or external temperature sensor is simple with the three-point automated calibration menu.
