Shaft Chek is a calibrated NIST-traceable precision measurement device for checking and straightening paddle and basket shafts. "Wobble" created by bent shafts or improperly designed spindles that can cause erroneous test data due to hydrodynamic inconsistencies can be detected and corrected with the product.
Distorted baskets can be re-shaped and paddle blades can be verified for adherence to USP specifications. A V-block configuration, along with a large diameter dial indicator, facilitates measurement and adjustment.
