Basic Assay Platform

The Multiwell Insert System is an assay platform that consists of a 24-well PET membrane insert plate and an insert plate lid. The large size of the tray aids in the reproducibility from well to well, while reducing the need for frequent media changes. The product can handle 24 inserts at once, because all of the inserts are contained in the single unit. The membrane of each of these wells lie within the same focal plane of most inverted microscopes, permitting the viewing of cells with standard optics and minimal adjustments. Also, the lid and the insert itself can be removed as one unit if desired.
