BalanceTalk software increases the efficiency and accuracy of your weighing applications by directly interfacing to a PC any balance or scale equipped with an RS232 port. Results from the balance are sent directly to a file, to BalanceTalk's internal spreadsheet or to an external application. Any program that allows you to manually enter data can now receive data directly from BalanceTalk.

BalanceTalk is particularly powerful when working with spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Lotus or Quattro. Data from your balance is entered directly into the highlighted cell within the spreadsheet. Before the next weight is sent, BalanceTalk can automatically move the cursor to the next cell where that weight should be entered. Keystroke macros within Balance Talk can activate menus and run macros in the spreadsheet application, to further automate the processing of your data.

For Excel users, BalanceTalk now includes pre-configured spreadsheet templates for many standard weighing applications, including moisture analysis, check weighing, density measurement, content uniformity, difference and counting. Templates are also provided for Total % Solids (2540B), Total Suspended Solids (2540D) and Total Volatile Solids (2540E).
