CM Protégé Powder Dispense System automates tedious, time-consuming task of dispensing solids and viscous liquids.

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) - Freeslate, Inc., the leading provider of high throughput research solutions for drug development, today announced Argonne National Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy research laboratory, acquired aCM Protégé Powder Dispense System. The automated powder dispense system is designed to be flexible and easy to use while retaining the accuracy and precision of Freeslate’s proprietary Powdernium™ technology. Argonne National Laboratory will use the system to enhance research in several key programs in the areas of catalysis, materials, and energy.

“We are very pleased Argonne National Laboratory continues to recognize the value our automation solutions provide,” said John S. Senaldi, President and CEO of Freeslate. “The CM Protégé Powder Dispense System combines our cutting edge powder dispensing technology with state of the art automation control, resulting in a system that scientists with no previous automation experience can immediately get value from.”

The CM Protégé Powder Dispense System leverages Freeslate’s proven proprietary powder dispense technologies and debuts a new easy-to-use interface designed to simplify the user experience. Experimental methods are simple to build and can be shared between multiple CM Protégé Powder Dispense Systems to standardize methods across an organization. The platform can operate either as a stand-alone solution, or it can be integrated with other analytical or CM Protégé Systems to create an entire automated workflow. The flexibility of the system allows it to support a wide array of applications ranging from pharmaceutical development to chemical development.

For applications that require integration, the CM Protégé Powder Dispense System can interface with Freeslate’sLab Execution and Analysis (LEA) software. An optional positive displacement pipette enables the precise and accurate dispensing of liquids with viscosities up to 5000 cP.
