AFS systems produce consistently pure NCCLS Type I (Reagent-Grade) water from tap for direct feed to clinical analyzers. Water is a clinical reagent and directly affects lab results and productivity. AFS systems, including the new low-flow AFS-3 Analyzer System, can feed clinical analyzers of just about any flow rate and at any location worldwide. Type I/Type II water is produced via multiple technologies: pretreatment, reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), and absolute filtration.
