H2O2 Vapor Application: Room & Facility Biodecontamination - Part I

November 24, 2014 -

Choosing the correct biodecontamination process for commissioning, prophylactic bioburden control, decommissioning, and event response can be challenging even for a seasoned individual. Each application requires a different response and sometimes multiple biodecontamination processes to be employed. In a 3 part Webinar Series, STERIS will detail the decision process. In Part I, we introduce and discuss the difference between various biodecontamination technologies and why the H2O2 vapor process technology is a safe and effective biodecontamination method for Rooms and Facilities. In Part II, we will discuss the use of Mobile H2O2 biodecontamination equipment for facilitating the biodecontamination process. Finally, in Part III, we will demonstrate the use of Integrated H2O2 biodecontamination systems as part of a building’s air handling system (HVAC). This presentation focuses on the safe and effective use of H2O2 vapor process technology for the biodecontamination of Rooms and Facilities including the process selection process; the delivery methods available; and the verification of effectiveness.
