The Alfa Wassermann Smart System PKII is a continuous flow Ultracentrifuge providing flow rates up to 60 litres/hr and RCF of 121,000 xg. Protocols ranging from; cell components isolation, virus purification/vlp, and particulate protein concentration. Automated control, true linear scalability, and clean room compatible features make the Smart System PKII essential for bioprocess pilot plants and commercial production.
The development system also incorporates the advanced automated control system of the Smart System KII ultracentrifuge. This software driven control console provides the development scientist with all operating parameters displayed "real-time" on the control screen.
Automated programs can also be run from pre-stored files, or manually through the control screen. The versatility, and the process scale feature make the Pilot System KII an ideal choice for pilot and development environments.
