This company now has available a new network version of Kodak 1D Image Analysis Software. In addition to networking, the new version of this software has been upgraded with many new and enhanced features.

Used in conjunction with the Kodak Image Station 440CF, the network Version 3.5 of this software controls copy protection electronically, allowing the software to be loaded on an unlimited number of computers, providing researchers with access from anywhere on the network. In addition, multiple users can simultaneously access the image station system over a local network. The software is compatible with either the Windows or Macintosh computer platforms.

Improved capabilities to this software also include: enhanced region of interest (ROI) analysis, selection tool improvements, new image display options (including >20 filters to enhance image appearance), expanded file formats, more export options, analysis results, and retention of the history file with altered images. Other improvements have been made involving file compatibility, printing, image rotation, band analysis, printing, and ROI measurement and annotation to make the new version more reliable, intuitive, and flexible.

The image station is a multipurpose benchtop imaging system that provides image detection and accurate quantitative analysis for a variety of applications including chemiluminescence, fluorescence, chromogenic staining, and densitometry of gels and autoradiography films. The system comes with two user licenses for the image analysis software. The network version requires purchase of one or more additional licenses. The software is custom-configured prior to shipment to ensure compatibility with virtually any type of network.
