New Test Laboratories Completed At BIT Germany And BIT USA

BIT Analytical Instruments optimizes its competence portfolio through additional know-how transfer to the existing "wet" and "optic labs".

Ludlow, MA (PRWEB) The development of laboratory equipment in general and IVD devices in particular requires comprehensive, well documented testing for the functions being developed. Regulations also require tests to verify and validate the devices. The new facilities will mean a considerable improvement in the coordinated quality process between the two locations and enable it to be extended to include all of the current R&D projects.

The equipment of the two test laboratories comprises measuring and testing facilities for components and assemblies, chemical and biochemical basic equipment, a climatically controlled chamber for tests and endurance tests in the 18- to 30-degree Celsius temperature range. Tests as part of development projects, the verification of BIT standard test procedures, the development and verification of individual procedures after application and also documentations are all carried out in the new laboratories. The laboratory personnel consists of mechanical engineers, physicists, electrical engineers and laboratory technicians and optimizes the accustomed BIT quality standard.
