METTLER TOLEDO Launches XA Balance Line

Greifensee, Switzerland - METTLER TOLEDO, a leading global supplier of precision instruments and services, launches the Excellence XA Balance Line. Designed to meet the needs of research, the XA Balance Line offers readability down to 0.01 milligram, thereby delivering the reliable results required in all research fields. Every balance in this new line is easy to use and to clean and meets users' demands for a robust instrument.

XA Balances make the weighing process shorter and easier by offering all METTLER TOLEDO weighing expertise concentrated into a select number of key features", explains Christoph Jung, Head BA Excellence at METTLER TOLEDO. "When doing research, we know that our customers need reliable results as quickly and as easily as possible. After listening carefully to the feedback academic labs gave us regarding their requirements for high levels of balance performance and robustness, we saw the need to fill this requirement with a new balance line."
Guaranteed easy handling and fast results
The XA Line offers the state-of-the-art weighing technology for which METTLER TOLEDO is known. The balance line facilitates daily work with its ergonomic features: For example, the user can open each door from both sides, allowing easy access to the balance while their preferred hand stays free for dosing. Furthermore, the SmartGrid weighing pan and the ErgoClip container holders allow direct dosing into almost every type of vessel, including tubes and vials. These innovative accessories guarantee the user easy instrument handling and contribute to achieving results fast. Thanks to the user-friendly touchscreen, the customer will find the XA Balance to be an intuitive and straight forward instrument to use. It is easy to dismantle the entire weighing chamber; all parts are dishwasher safe, meaning that the
once long and intricate cleaning process becomes a streamlined and satisfying job that can be done by all members of the lab team. Finally, the instruments' rugged design protects against corrosive chemicals and prevents ingress of dust or liquids.

The XA Balance models range from Analytical Balances with a readability down to 0.01 milligram to High Capacity Precision Balances up to 32 kilogram, all available from April 1, 2010.
