Yeasts are group of fungi that can colonize many sites on a living host. Candida are yeasts, that exist for the most part in a unicellular form. Yeasts are commonly carried by pets (both warm and cold blooded), insects, aquatic habitats, a variety of plants and soil. They may be the source of recurring infections. BioMed Diagnostics' InTray Colorex Yeast provides the simultaneous detection and presumptive identification of yeast species.

- Pull back the label, remove and discard seal, inoculate, reseal label, incubate at 37°C; then read the results directly in the tray.
