V-Plane manipulator assemblies from MDC Vacuum Products move samples inside high and ultrahigh vacuum systems. X-Y and Z-Only building block components are interchangeable. This allows users to configure precision large bore, long-travel X-Y-Z manipulator assemblies for their specific application. X-Y components with 1-1/2 in to 4" bores offer +/- 0.001" accuracy in both dimensions. These can be combined with precision Z-only components which travel from 6 in to 36 in. V-Plane components feature stainless-steel construction, welded bellows, and Del-Seal metal seal mounting flanges. Units are bakeable to 230ºC.
