All models in the new Lambda Series of UV/Vis spectrometers are double beam instruments with very low noise and nominal stray-light, operating under full UV WinLab software control. New functionality and modules for kinetics (UV KinLab) and biochemical analysis (UV BioLab) are included with the UV WinLab software. With a wide range of accessories available to customize and further automate sample handling, these spectrometers are suitable for routine analysis in any industry.

The series is comprised of three models, the Lambda 25, the Lambda 35, and the Lambda 45, which differ in optical resolution and stray-light performance. These double beam systems offer exceptional signal stability, which provides an excellent base for kinetic and other lengthy experiments. Noise and stray-light are nominal, yielding high performance for both high (up to 3A) and low absorbance measurements (0.003A). This makes the series ideal for researchers studying precious samples, such as dsDNA, that are available only in small quantities.
